Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Monday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Smokebend. Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. at the church, with interment in the church mausoleum. She is survived by eight daughters, Judy Hurry of LaPlace, Margaret Landry and husband, Richard, of Thibodaux, Mary Ann Hurban and husband, George, of New Orleans, Therese Kiff and husband, Ned, of Marrero, Frances Becnel of Belle Rose, Claire Robert and husband, Bruce, of Donaldsonville, Janet Brown and husband, Russell, of Clinton and Carla Gaudet and husband, Ernie, of Pierre Part; three sons, Bernard Becnel and wife, Sylvia, of Gray, and Lynn Becnel and Russell Becnel, both of Donaldsonville; three sisters, Anna Mae Ledet of St. James, Lillian Ledet of Gramercy and Ethel Oubre of St. James; one brother, Albert Zeringue Jr. of St. James, 24 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Becnel Sr.; her parents, Albert and Regina Waguespack Zeringue, one sister, Therese Folse and one son-in- law, Ray Hurry. She was a Eucharistic minister, former religion teacher and member of the Ladies' Altar Society at St. Francis of Assisi.
