Alphonse Ricouard

Alphonse "Coon" Ricouard, 82, a native of Buras and resident of Choctaw, died at 
7:55 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, 2004.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today at Thibodaux Funeral Home and from 8 
a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. James Chapel in Choctaw. Services will be 
at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with burial in St. James Cemetery.

He is survived by one son, Alphonse "Tutty" Ricouard Jr.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Gromley Ricouard; his parents, 
Gustave and Enilia Baras Ricouard; one brother, Elmer Ricouard; and two sisters, 
Mae Theil and Myrtle Theriot.

He was a World War II veteran.
