Bernella DeHart					[Photo]

Bernella Duplantis DeHart, 57, a native of Houma and resident of Theriot, died 
at 10:28 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 3, 2004.

Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time 
Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Services will be at noon Tuesday at St. Andrews 
Episcopal Church, with burial in Holy Family Cemetery No. 2.

She is survived by three sons, Tommy DeHart and wife, Linda, of Theriot, Ashton 
DeHart and wife, Charlotte, and Jonah DeHart and wife, Jenny, of Houma; one 
daughter, Holly DeHart Liner and husband, Quint, of Theriot; two brothers, 
Wilbert Duplantis Jr. of Bourg and Terry Duplantis of Raceland; four sisters, 
Susan Duplantis, Karen Shaw, Priscilla Bourg of Dulac and Annie Moore of 
Coushatta; four grandchildren, Celitta Marie Liner, Quint "Taco" Liner Jr., 
Bryson Liner and Ashton DeHart Jr.; three step-grandchildren, Heather Fitch, 
Kenneth Fitch Jr. and Ciara Fitch; and two step-great-grandchildren, Kendrick 
Fitch and Cameron Broussard.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas C. DeHart; and her parents, 
Wilbert Duplantis Sr. and Mable White.

She was a member of Bayou Dularge Fire Department.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
