Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Community Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Residence Baptist Church. Religious services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in Crescent Farm Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Claude Mcguire; three sons, Mark Coleman and wife, Charlene, Raymond Coleman Jr. and wife, JoAnn and Ounston Coleman and wife, Yolanda, all of Houma; two daughters, Sylvia Reels and husband, Tony, and Marrial Theriot and husband, Benjamin, all of Houma; four brothers, Sherman Lawson and wife, Bertha, Robert Lawson and wife, Shirley, Isiahal Lawson and wife, Jerod, and the Rev. Zilton Lawson and wife, Andrea, all of Houma; three sisters, Olivia Anderson and husband, Clearence, Patronella Shelvin and husband, Alton, and Vicky Lawson, all of Houma; 19 grandchildren; and 17 great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elijah and Evalina Lawson Sr.; three brothers, Elijah Lawson Jr., Clearence and Earl Lawson; and one sister, Edna Lawson. She was the self-employed owner of C & B Soul Food Restaurant and was a member of the order of Eastern Star J.J. Clement Chapter No. 15, Terrebonne Inner City Lions and Southern Quarterback. McGuire is also survived by her son, Bryant Coleman.
