Visitation is from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday at Community Funeral Home and from 5 p.m. to funeral time at First Corinthian Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at the church. Graveside dismissal burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Luke Baptist Church Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Alvin Harding Sr. of Houma; four sons, Alvin Harding Jr. of Lincoln, Neb., James Harding of Baton Rouge, and Glen Harding and Warren Harding Sr., both of Houma; three daughters, Joyce (Henry) Allen, Joan (Sterling) Short and Sylvia Harding, all of Houma; five sisters, Katie Campbell of New Orleans, Lucy Johnson, Laurie Traylor, Charlotte (Samuel) Shepherd, all of Houma, and Olivia Robinson of Topeka, Kan.; three brothers, Joseph (Olivia) Riley Sr. of New Orleans, Henry (Denise) Riley and Roswell (Rock) Delco, both of Houma; 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth T. Riley and Joseph Riley Sr.; one daughter, Barbara Jean; one grandchild, Damien Lamar Short; one sister, Doretha Green; and her grandparents, Henry and Sarah Tyler, and Lucy and Duncan Riley. She was Baptist and a member of First Corinthian Baptist Church.
