Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Samart Funeral Home in Houma. Religious services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery. He is survived by one brother, Elgin "ToTo" Guidry; one sister, Miriam Theriot and husband, Odon; four nieces, Diane Adams, Paula Guidry, Vanessa Guidry Whipple and Karen Guidry; one great-niece, Angelle Percle; three great-nephews, Dwayne Adams, Christopher Whipple and Jonah Potter; and one great-great-niece, Haley Adams. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruffin Guidry and Agnes Rhodes Guidry; and one brother, Norris Guidry. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a self-employed fisherman. He enjoyed hunting. Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
