Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Chauvin Funeral Home and 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at the funeral home. Religious services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home's chapel with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. She is survived by two sons, Dudley Melancon and wife, Charlene, of Houma, and Barry Melancon and wife, Patty, of Rye, N.Y.; one daughter, Sharon Prevost and husband, Arnold, of Houma; one sister, Gladys Domingue of Metairie; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dudley P. Melancon Sr.; her parents, Dudley Parker and Alice Debat Parker; two brothers, Dudley Parker and Walter Parker; and two sisters, Helen Bordelon and Ruth Riedie. She was a housewife. She was a parishioner of First United Methodist Church.
