Eunice Ledet						[Photo]

Eunice Foret Ledet, 98, a native of Raceland and resident of Thibodaux, died 
Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to funeral time Tuesday at St. Charles Borromeo 
Catholic Church. Mass will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in 
the church cemetery.

She is survived by two sons, Philip Jr. and Charles Ledet; seven daughters, 
Joyce Ledet, Theresa Leche, Anna Mae Labat, Barbara Battaglia, Marcelle Labat, 
Noel Bourg and Lydia Degruise; one sister, Una Kenney; 35 grandchildren; and 41 
great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Ledet Sr.; her parents, Pierre 
Foret and Hilda Theriot Foret; three sons, Jerry Ledet Sr., Kermit Ledet Sr. and 
Prestor Ledet; two daughters, Beulah Ledet and Eva Ledet; one grandchild, Gerard 
Ledet; three brothers, Richard, Etienne and Theodore Foret; and two sisters, 
Eugenie Foret and Antoinette Gauthier.
