The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ============================= October 18. 2004 12:22PM Ezeb Schexsnayder Jr. [Photo] Ezeb Schexsnayder Jr., 80, a native of Palmetto and resident of Labadieville, died at 7 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 17, 2004. Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Landry's Funeral Home in Labadieville. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Philomena Catholic Church in Labadieville, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by two sons, Charles and David Schexsnayder; five daughters, Linda Dubois, Barbara Ordoyne, Sherry Daigle, Laura Benoit and Angela LaRose; one brother, John Schexsnayder; one sister, Lornise Fontenot; 17 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosie Clark Schexsnayder; his parents, Ezeb Schexsnayder Sr. and Arelin Soileau Schexsnayder; one brother, Aurelian Schexsnayder Sr.; and one sister, Oline Virgie. He was a World War II veteran and received a Purple Heart medal. He was a member of the V.F.W., American Legion and the Knights of Columbus.
