Gary James LeCompte Jr., 46, a native and resident of Houma, died at 3:35 a.m. 
Thursday, Oct. 14, 2004.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8 
a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Mass will be at 
11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 
2.

He is survived by his parents, Gary James LeCompte Sr. and Bonna Breaux LeCompte 
of Houma; two sons, Gary J. LeCompte III and Jessie LeCompte of Houma; one 
daughter, Kaydi LeCompte and companion, Jamie Miles Sr. of Gray; one brother, 
Barry LeCompte Sr. and wife, Rhonda, of Houma; two sisters, Chrystal LeCompte 
and fiance, Darren Price, of Houma and Cherie Naquin and husband, Todd, of 
Thibodaux; two grandchildren, Kaliya LeCompte and Jamie Miles Jr.; and his 
grandparents, William and Effie LeCompte of Houma.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Phillip and Linda Breaux.

He was a retired wireline operator with Dresser Atlas and a member of the Easy 
Does It Club.

He was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
