Visitation will be from 4 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Samart Funeral Home in Houma. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Ann Catholic Church in Bourg, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Florence Crochet; one son, Ronald John Crochet Sr. of Broussard; two daughters, Crystal Dubois of Houma and Michele Louviere of Conroe, Texas; one brother, Francis Ray Crochet of Williamston, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Crochet and Cecile Savoie Hebert. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, a member of the V.F.W. and was a retired truck driver. He was Catholic.
