The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ============================= October 29. 2004 12:00AM Lucille Mire Lucille d'Aquin Mire, 90, a native of New Orleans and resident of Algiers, died at 12:15 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, 2004. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Mary Joseph Residence in Algiers. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the residence, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. She is survived by six sons, Andrew Jr., Denis Sr., Michael Sr., James, John Sr. and Peter Mire; four daughters, Sister Miriam Ann Mire, Evelyn Capitano, Janet Rovira and Marilyn Crosby; two sons-in-law, Tommy Capitano and Ronald Crosby; six daughters-in-law, Carol, Beverly, Maria, Donna, Rose and Debbie Mire; two sisters, Carmen LeBon and Sister Marie Therese; 33 grandchildren; 37 great- grandchildren; and numerous relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Mire Sr.; her parents, Thomas and Carmen d'Aquin; and one brother, Thomas d'Aquin Sr. In lieu of flowers, memorial Masses or donations to the Sisters of St. Joseph, 1200 Mirabeau Ave., New Orleans, LA 70122, Sisters of the Most Holy Sacrament, 406 St. Julien St., Lafayette, LA 70506 or the Little Sisters of the Poor, 4201 Woodland Drive, Algiers, LA 70131 will be appreciated.
