Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. She is survived by four daughters, Patricia C. Scheel and husband, David, of Tenino, Wash., Dorothy C. Barnett and husband, Mannon "Barney," Wanda C. Porche of Houma and Brenda C. Arceneaux and fiance, Francis Fanguy, of Bourg; 19 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fay Anthony Callahan; her parents, Ellis Joseph Rhodes and Mary Walker Rhodes; two sons-in-law, Roddy Porche and Louis Arceneaux; two brothers, Irwin and Ellis J. Rhodes Jr.; and three sisters, Gertrude Palmeri, Mary Perkins and Stella Belanger. She was a retired supervisor with BellSouth Telephone Company with 30 years and a member of BellSouth Pioneers. She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
