Myra McJimsey						[Photo]

Myra Boquet McJimsey, a resident of New Iberia, died at 4:34 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 30, 2004.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Evangeline Funeral Home in New 
Iberia and from 9:30 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Holy Rosary Catholic 
Church in Houma. Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. 
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the 
church cemetery.

She is survived by one son; Robert McJimsey and wife, Joan, of Loreauville; one 
daughter, Dianne McJimsey Gore and husband, Jimmie, of Lafayette; two sisters, 
Jackie Chauvin and Beverly Callahan, both of Houma; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-
grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Junius "Big Mac" McJimsey; her 
parents, Gustave Pierre and Celestine Walker Boquet; one son, June McJimsey; and 
two brothers, Rudolph and Robert Boquet.
