Visitation will be 1 to 4 p.m. Thurs-day at Com-munity Funeral Home in Houma and 5 to 8 p.m. at Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Smithridge with wake services at 8 p.m. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Mount Gideon Baptist Church in Baton Rouge with burial in the Port Hudson National Cemetery in Zachary. He leaves to mourn his loving wife, Paulette W. Smith of Baton Rouge; his loving parents Nicholas Smith Jr. and Irma Outley Smith of Chauvin; two daughters, Kayla N. Lee of Baton Rouge and Brittany B. Smith of Gonzales; four stepdaughters, Lakeisha Ross, Shantel Thompson, Brandy Williams and Latoya Williams all of Baton Rouge; seven grandchildren; six sisters, Cynthia Jeronica Anderson, Natalie Eddie Taylor, Pamela G. Smith, Rosalind Alonzo Celestine, all of Baton Rouge, and Lisha Phillip Price and Robin Smith of Chauvin; one brother, Andre Quandolyn Smith of Chauvin; one uncle, Lee Roy Paula Outley; one great uncle Willard Smith; two God children Jatera Taylor and Jordon Anderson and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parental grandparents, Nicholas and Florence Smith Sr.; his maternal grandparents, Horace Outley, Herman and Mildred Collins; one brother Dwight E. Smith; one sister Deidra L. Smith, two aunts, Dolores Howard Williams and Carrie M. Fletcher; and one cousin Kerrick J. Fletcher. He was employed at Your Other Warehouse in Baton Rouge and served in the United States Navy. Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
