"Spamp" Landry Sr., 87, a native of Bruly St. Martin and resident of Napoleonville, died at 11 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2004. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. Anne Catholic Church in Napoleonville. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by five sons, O'Neil P. Landry Jr. and wife, Jane L. Landry, Bryon Landry and wife, Phyllis B. Landry, Louis Landry and wife, Debra W. Landry, Kenneth Landry and wife, Diane S. Landry, and Ricky Landry and wife, Jeanette C. Landry; two sisters, Cecile L. Blanchard and Adelle Landry; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Denise Achee Landry; his parents, Louis Landry and Estelle Dugas Landry; one brother, Leon Landry; and one sister, Anaise Landry. He served as a caretaker at St. Anne Catholic Church for 10 years and was a World War II veteran. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association. Landry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
