Ophelia Shaw

Ophelia "Brenda" Shaw, 59, a native of Assumption Parish and resident of New 
Orleans, died Sunday, Oct. 10, 2004.

Visitation will be 8 to 10 a.m. today with at Second Morning Star Missionary 
Baptist Church at 2616 St. Andrew St. in New Orleans. A religious service will 
be held at 10 a.m. at the church. Dismissal will be at 1 p.m. today at St. John 
Baptist Church in Napoleonville, with burial at St. John Cemetery

She is survived by two sons, Reginald Shaw of Jacksonville, Fla., and Brian 
Shaw; one daughter, Ophelia Simmons of Austin; two brothers, Willie and Ronald 
Shaw of Donaldsonville; two sisters, Elisker Jones of New Orleans and Corastine 
Watson of Napeolonville; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
