Rebecca Porche

Rebecca Elizabeth Porche, a native and former resident of Houma, died Wednesday, 
Sept. 29, 2004, at Ollie Steele Burden Manor in Baton Rouge.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to funeral time today at St. Francis Chapel at 
Ollie Steele Burden Manor. Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. today at the chapel. 
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery 
No. 2 in Houma.

She is survived by one sister, Ethel Eickmeier of Baton Rouge and numerous 
relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry F. and Emily LeGrand Porche; six 
brothers, Clifford, Jesse, Lawrence, Roland, Ivy and Aaron Porche; and two 
sisters, Ola Porche and Byna Porche Daigle.

She was a retired elementary school teacher.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to a charity of your choice are 
preferred.
