Stanley Degree

Stanley Degree, 50, a native and resident of Larose, died at 5:15 a.m. Tuesday, 
Oct. 12, 2004.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Friday at New Mt. Zion Baptist 
Church in Larose. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, 
with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Minor of Larose; one brother, Jerome Degree 
Sr. of Larose; and six sisters, Stella Campous of Justice, Ill., Beverley Degree 
of Galliano, Donna Degree of Atlanta, Debra Jones and Rhonda Jones of Larose and 
Melaine Minor of Gretna.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Degree Jr.; his stepfather, 
Robert "Jack" Minor; and two brothers, Alfred Degree III and Gregory Minor.
