Thelma Marie Pellegrin Adams, 83, a native of Houma and resident of Chauvin, 
died at 7:52 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2004.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to funeral time Friday at St. Joseph Catholic 
Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in the church 
cemetery.

She is survived by two sons, Donald P. Adams and wife, Loretta, of Chauvin, and 
Clarence "Te-Cye" Adams Jr. and wife, Vanessa, of Houma; one daughter, Norma 
"Peanie" Lirette and husband, Danny Lirette Sr., of Chauvin; one brother, Warner 
Pellegrin of Chauvin; one sister, Louella P. Guidry of Golden Meadow; nine 
grandchildren, Bryan Adams, Debbie A. Blanchard, Lisa A. Bergeron, Keith Adams, 
Danny Lirette Jr., Lance Lirette, Summer Lirette, Destiny A. Cooper and Dustin 
Adams; 11 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and one step-
great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Adams Sr.; her parents, 
Victor Pellegrin Sr. and Clavia Authement Pellegrin; two brothers, Earl 
Pellegrin Sr. and Victor Pellegrin Jr.; and one sister, Mildred P. Authement.

She was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
