Alfred Gilchrist

Alfred Charles Gilchrist, 87, a native of Keary, N.J., and resident of Cut Off, 
died at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2004.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church in Cut Off. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with 
burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by one brother, Jakes Gilchrist of New York.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Venita Pitre Gilchrist; and his parents, 
James and Mary Hockey Gilchrist.

He was a retired Chevron employee with 24 years of service and was a World War 
II U.S. Air Force veteran.
