The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ============================= November 04. 2004 12:10PM Annie Giroir [Photo] Annie Marie "Ching" Giroir Giroir, 86, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Gibson, died at 1:50 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2004. Visitation will be from 4 to 10 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Friday at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by one son, Lawrence "L.J." Giroir Jr. and wife, Pearly Mae, of Houma; two grandchildren, Gerard Giroir and Kelli Giroir; two great- grandchildren, Kaitlyn Giroir and Mason Giroir; three step-grandchildren, Raelyn DeHart, Patty Babin and Crystal Lirette; and eight step-great-grandchildren, Robert, Brennan and Cody DeHart, Krista, Brea and Lauren Verret and Brooke and Hallee Babin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence F. Giroir Sr.; her parents, Joe Giroir and Vivian Hebert Giroir; two sons, Rudy F. Giroir and Bernie J. Giroir; one grandson, Heath Michael Giroir; two brothers, Roy J. Giroir Sr. and Kerman Giroir; and one sister, Thelma Giroir. She was a retired cook for Terrebonne Parish School Board and a member of St. Anthony's Ladies Altar Society. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
