Barbara Porche						[Photo]

Barbara Anna Marcelle Porche, 72, a native and resident of Houma, died at 11:50 
a.m. Friday, Nov. 26, 2004.

Visitation will be 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Chauvin Funeral Home. 
Prayer service will be at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with burial at St. 
Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.

She is survived by three sons, Burton Porche Jr. and wife, Susan, both of 
Oakland, Miss.; Wayne Porche and wife, Susan, of Gray; Rickey Porche and wife, 
Rhonda, of Houma; one brother, Ira Marcelle of Metairie; two sisters, Marion 
Webre and Merril Scales, both of Houma; and five grandchildren, Jennifer Porche, 
Brittany Porche, Ashley Porche, Tiffany Porche and Danielle Porche.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Marcelle and Agnes Beregron 
Marcelle; one brother, Herman Marcelle; and seven sisters, Arabella Benoit, 
Betty Trahan, Mayola Boudreaux, Walterine Waalk, Ethel Marcelle, Dorothy 
Marcelle and Joyce Marcelle.

She was a homemaker and parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
