The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ============================= November 09. 2004 12:04PM Bernard Coleman Sr. [Photo] Bernard Dwayne Coleman Sr., 35, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died at 6:53 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, 2004. Visitation will be from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at Community Funeral Home and from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Howard Third Zion Travelers Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in Crozier Cemetery. He is survived by his mother, Helen B. Coleman; one son, Bernard James Coleman Jr.; four brothers, Thomas Coleman and wife, Cora, of Union City, Calif., Carl Coleman and wife, Malia, of California, Timothy Coleman of Houma and Randolph Coleman and wife, Gail, of Pensacola, Fla.; and three sisters, Cynthia Weston and husband, Leslie, of Houma, Cindy Watkins and husband, Donald, of Houma and Ginger Coleman of Pensacola. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Coleman; one son, Andrae Dwayne Coleman; his grandparents, Herbert and Hallet Hawkins Brown and Ruben and Carrie Coleman; and three brothers, Ralph, Rudolph and Robert Wade Coleman. He was a laborer for Weatherford Gemoco Oil for 10 years and was a member of Howard Third Zion Travelers Baptist Church.
