Bessie Chiasson

Bessie Hymel Chiasson, 94, a native of Lockport and resident of Larose, died at 
4:40 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, 2004.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Holy Savior Catholic 
Church in Lockport. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial 
in the church cemetery.

She is survived by one son, Raymond Chiasson; one daughter, Ethel Orgeron; one 
sister, Eula Hymel; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-
great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Junius Chiasson; her parents, Fernand 
and Alice Chauvin Hymel; and two sisters, Lizzie Walker and Annie Allemand.
