Elverine Kief

Elverine Danos Kief, 90, a native of Cut Off and resident of Galliano, died at 
1:24 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004.

Mass was at 11 a.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano, with burial 
in Cheramie Cemetery.

She is survived by one daughter, Lola Cantrelle; two sisters, Thelma Danos 
Callais and Anorine Danos Eymard; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and 
one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clerville Kief Sr.; her parents, 
Pierre Danos and Lucille Cretini Danos; one son, Clerville Kief Jr.; one 
daughter, Ruth Kief, three brothers, Paul, Nasime and Henry Danos; and four 
sisters, Augusta Bourgeois, Vera Seal, Lucitte Chouest and Lucy Guidry.

She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
