The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ============================= November 17. 2004 12:00AM Gene Gaddis [Photo] Gene Paul Gaddis, 72, a native of Jackson, Miss., and resident of Denham Springs, died at 4:18 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, 2004. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time today at Chauvin Funeral Home. Religious services will be at 3 p.m. today at the funeral home chapel, with burial in New Hope Cemetery. He is survived by two sons, Michael Gaddis of San Antonio and David Gaddis of Tampa, Fla.; two daughters, Cheryl Gaddis of Denham Springs and Stephanie Gaddis of Jackson; three brothers, Bill Dungan of Philadelphia, Miss., Charles Dungan of Denham Springs and Glen Dungan; two sisters, Audrey Miller and Hazel Wills of Denham Springs; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine "Gerri" Plumb Gaddis; his parents, James Oscar Dungan and Willie Owens Dungan; six brothers, James, Powell, Herman, Hunter, Percy and Ray Dungan; and four sisters, Maxine, Marie, Adonis and Bernice Dungan. He worked for Gene Lawn Care and was a U.S. National Guard veteran. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
