Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano. Mass will be at noon Thursday at the church, with burial in Cheramie Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Floredia Pitre Hebert; two daughters, Patsy H. Rink and Suzanne H. Cheramie; two sons-in-law, Joseph H. Rink Jr. and Hick "Skip" Cheramie III; one brother, Lefry Hebert; seven grandchildren; and 14 great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Azael Hebert and Adelaide P. Hebert; three brothers, Webre, Paul and John Hebert; and four sisters, Bessie Hebert, Louisa H. Vega, Floredia Adams and Rosie Deason. He was the principal of South Lafourche High School and was a veteran of World War II and Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Louisiana Principal's Association and Louisiana Athletic Association. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
