Gregory Maryland Jr., 19, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma 
died at 7:11 a.m. Saturday Nov. 20, 2004.

Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at Howard Third Zion Travelers 
Baptist Church. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church with burial 
at Combon Cemetery in Dulac.

He is survived by his parents, Demetria Pam Maryland and Gregory Maryland Sr.; 
two brothers, Gregory Trevor Simmons of Houston and Gregory Miguel Anderson of 
Dallas; and three sisters, India Arie Maryland of Houma, LaTanya Jules of 
Richmond, Calif., and Shauna Anderson of Dallas.

He was preceded in death by one grandparent, Edward Maryland; and great-
grandparents, Willie and Emma (Susie) Bonvillain, and Harry and Lillian Trahan.

He was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church of Grand Caillou. He also was a 
member of Glory to Glory Outreach Youth Conference in Houston.

He was a student at Southern University of Baton Rouge in marine biology.
