Henry Reado Sr.					[Photo]

Henry "Pompee" Reado Sr., 88, a native of Raceland and resident of Thibodaux, 
died at 11:37 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Third Zion Baptist 
Church in Raceland. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the 
church, with burial in Young Men Benevolent Association Cemetery at Lafourche 
Crossing.

He is survived by three sons, Joseph Reado of Raceland, Lloyd Reado of Thibodaux 
and Norman Reado of New Orleans; one daughter, Ruth Mae Jones of New Orleans; 
one sister, Elnora R. Smith of Raceland; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-
grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Frances Adams Reado; one 
son, Henry Reado Jr.; one brother, Ezikel Reado Sr.; and two sisters, Stella 
Thomas and Alberta Reado.

He was a member of Third Zion Baptist Church and served on the Usher Board for 
many years.
