Herbert Terrebonne Jr.

Herbert J. "Put" Terrebonne Jr., 83, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of 
Cut Off, died at 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, 2004.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church in Cut Off. Mass will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in 
Cheramie Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Gosta Pitre Terrebonne; one son, Lindo and wife, 
Thelma D. Terrebonne; two sisters, Adeline T. Callais and Aline T. Danos; three 
grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hebert Sr. and Ida Cheramie Terrebonne; 
one brother, Wilbert Terrebonne; and two sisters, Edith T. Savoie and Ida T. 
Collins.

He was a retired tax collector for the Department of Revenue and was a U.S. Army 
veteran of World War II.

He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
