Hubert Oncale

Hubert "Hobie" Oncale, 80, a native and resident of Chackbay, died Sunday, Nov. 
7, 2004.

Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Our Lady of 
Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Chackbay. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at 
the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Alina "Tillie" Oncale; one son, Hubert "Bert" Oncale 
Jr.; two brothers, Nolton and Russell Oncale; and one sister, Daisy O. Durocher.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Blanche Percle Oncale; and 
one brother, Herman Oncale.

He was an usher at Our Lady of Prompt Succor, a member of the Knights of 
Columbus Council No. 8743 of Chackbay, the American Legion Post No. 0011 in 
Thibodaux and a veteran of World War II.
