Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Religious services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bistineaux Cemetery in Heflin. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Stewart Madden of Houma; two sons, Jerry Madden and wife, Dotty, of Houma, and Terry Madden and wife, Lynne, of Breaux Bridge; one daughter, Dena Madden of Houma; one sister, Josie Crawford of Minden; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Madden and Emma Cole Madden; three brothers; and two sisters. He was president of Madden Cable Service and was a member of Jerusalem Temple Shriner's Club, Masonic Unity Lodge No. 267, Marine Corp. League, board member of Terrebonne Sportsman League and True Buck Hunting Club. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
