Murphy Rodrigue Sr.					[Photo]

Murphy J. Rodrigue Sr., 81, a native of Chackbay and resident of Thibodaux, died 
Sunday, Nov. 7, 2004.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Thibodaux Funeral Home Chapel and 
from 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral. Mass will be at 
10 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by two sons, Murphy Rodrigue Jr. and Stewart Rodrigue; two 
daughters, Patricia Rodrigue and Arlene Benoit; one brother, Willie Rodrigue; 
one sister, Lucy Rodrigue; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lena Chiasson Rodrigue; his parents, Allen 
Rodrigue and Lorena Marse Rodrigue; one infant son, Michael John Rodrigue; and 
two brothers, Leland and Lloyd Rodrigue.

He was a World War II Army veteran and was in the Korean Conflict.

He was a member of the V.F.W. Post No. 5097 and American Legion.
