Robert Shaner

Robert Reed Shaner, 83, a native of Toya, Texas, and resident of Golden Meadow 
and Larose, died at 9:20 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Our Lady of Prompt 
Succor Catholic Church. Mass will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the church with 
burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife Eva Theriot Shaner; one son, Robert Ritchie Shaner; 
one daughter, Bobbie Shaner Jones; one brother, Eugene Shaner; one sister, 
Martha Shaner Garner; and three grandchildren, Chance M. Jones, Parrish R. Jones 
and Megan L. Shaner.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ritchey and Pearl Shaner; one brother, 
George Owen Shaner; and one grandchild, Hondo L. Jones.

He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Falgout Funeral Homes of Raceland.
