Shirley Barrient					[Photo]

Shirley Burgess Neal Barrient, 65, a native of New Orleans and resident of 
Gonzales, died at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. today at Ourso Funeral Home in 
Donaldsonville.

She is survived by her mother, Gladys Detillier Burgess of Donaldsonville; one 
daughter, Galen "Kate" Neal of Houma; two sons, Tommy "Butch" Neal and Lee 
"Bodie" Barrient Jr., both of Gonzales; five sisters, Laura B. Mollere of 
Thibodaux, Sylvia B. Ewen, Joyce Burgess and Donna B. Landry, all of 
Donaldsonville and Glenda "LuLu" Radar of Lafayette; two brothers, Sammy Burgess 
of Donaldsonville and Jimmy Burgess of Plaquemine; five grandchildren; and three 
great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Barrient Sr.; one daughter, Mary 
Lee "P-Nut" Barrient; and her father, Sam Burgess.

She was a homemaker.
