The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ============================= November 09. 2004 12:09PM Sidney Ingram Sidney Pugh Ingram, 69, a native of New Orleans and longtime resident of Houma, died at 10:35 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, 2004. Graveside services were held Monday in Crowley, with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Wilburn Ingram and Carrie "Petie" Nicholls Pugh Ingram. He practiced law for many years with the law firm of Watkins, Watkins and Walker and later served as research attorney for the late Judge Louis Watkins Jr. during the latter's tenure on the First Circuit Court of Appeal. He was a member of the Terrebonne Parish Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and co-authored with Professor Leonard Oppenhiem the Louisiana Civil Law Treatise on Trusts. He was also a member and past treasurer of the Friends of Christ Church. He was a parishioner and past member of the vestry of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in Houma.
