Audrey Mire						[Photo]

Audrey M. Mire, 81, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died Thursday, Dec. 16, 
2004.

A memorial Mass will be at noon Saturday at St. John Catholic Church in 
Thibodaux.

She is survived by one brother, Cecil Mire; and one sister, Jackie Mire 
Domingue.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elvire Clement Mire and Joseph Mire; 
and three sisters, Ethel Mire Bullock, Claudette Mire Crochet and Lorraine Mire 
Miller.

She was a third-grade teacher at L.T. Elementary School for 30 years. After her 
retirement from teaching at L.T., she continued her employment at Lee's School 
Supplies store and spent many of the following years as a loving and devoted 
caregiver to her ailing mother.

She loved taking and collecting pictures of the family and was a keeper of 
records for the family, which was passed on by her Aunt Bridget Mire. She had a 
passion for creating beautiful cards and corresponded often with family, friends 
and several authors.

Her greatest passion was the love of her Catholic faith and family. She will be 
deeply missed by her family.

Landry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
