Visitation will be from 6 p.m. till 10 p.m. today and 8 a.m. till funeral time Thursday at Chauvin Funeral Home. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Chauvin Funeral Home Chapel with burial in St. Patrick Cemetery. He is survived by one son, David Brockwell of Gibson; three daughters, Judy Roberts of Thibodaux, Kathy Brockwell of Houma; and Paula Brockwell of Amelia; one brother, Taylor Brockwell of Greeneville, Tenn.; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jo Hinkle Brockwell; his father, Charles Brockwell; his mother, Katherine Stanton Irvin; three brothers, Charles, Sam, and John Brockwell; one sister, Patricia Norris; and one granddaughter. He was a retired painter with Brown and Root, a veteran of the Korean War and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Morgan City chapter.
