Clara Dufrene						[Photo]

Clara "Sis" Brupbacher Dufrene, 87, a native of Thibodaux and resident of Des 
Allemands, died at 11:15 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Des Allemands Mennonite 
Church. Service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in the 
Mennonite Cemetery.

She is survived by one son, Marlin Dufrene; three brothers, John, Jesse and Glen 
Brupbacher; five sisters, Ruth Roy, Thelma Bernard, Ida Doland, Betty Ruiz and 
Gerry Vannoy; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tracy Dufrene; her parents, Otto 
Brupbacher and Lydia Pertuit Brupbacher; and two brothers, Orrie and Otto 
Brupbacher Jr.

She was owner of Sis' Flowers and Gifts for 43 years.
