Dorothy Toups McKerall				[Photo]

Dorothy Toups McKerall, 86, native of Waggaman and resident of Thibodaux, died 
today.(29 Dec 2004 ??)

Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at St. Joseph Co-
Cathedral in Thibodaux. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with 
burial at St. Joseph Cemetery.

She is survived by three sisters, Mildred Toups Marcello, Ruth Toups Monsour and 
Shirley Toups Authement.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Foster McKerall; her parents, 
L.M. Toups Sr. and Maude Peltier Toups; two brothers, Roland Toups and L.M. 
Toups Jr.; and three sisters, Estella Toups Pitman, Myrtle Toups Ayo, and 
Theresa Toups Toups.

She was a 1st Lieutenant in the Army Nursing Corps and served as a teacher at 
St. Joseph Elementary and Raceland Elementary schools. She was a parishioner of 
St. Joseph Co-Cathedral and a resident of St. Joseph Manor in Thibodaux. She was 
a former member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and active in 
nursing and retired teachers' organizations. She was also a member of the 
Catholic Daughters Association.

The family would like to thank Thibodaux Regional Medical Center, Dr. Chester 
Boudreaux, St. Joseph Manor and St. Joseph Hospice. Donations can be made to St. 
Joseph Hospice, 905 Canal Blvd., Thibodaux, LA. 70301.

Landry's funeral home is in charge of funeral arrangements.
