Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at St. Ann Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his companion, Loredia Pitre of Thibodaux; two sons, Darren Paul Hebert and fiancee, Carrie Duplantis, of Clinton and Mark Anthony Hebert of Houma; and three sisters, Judy Duhon' and husband, Wayne, of Houma, Barbara Foret and husband, Horace, of Larose and Beryl Trahan and husband, Bobby, of Houma. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eldred A. Hebert Sr. and Anna Mae Pye Hebert. He was a federal marshall for the federal government, retired from State Police after 20 years of service and a member of the State Trooper Association. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War and a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church.
