Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Riemann Memorial Funeral Home in Gulfport, Miss. Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in National Cemetery in Biloxi, Miss. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Hale Martin of Saucier; one son, Robert Edwin Martin of Bastrop; four daughters, Linda Anne Martin of West Des Moines, Iowa, Ruth Marie Martin of Tampa, Fla., Wendy Lyn Cook of Gulfport and Karen Jean Sanders of Bossier City; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He served in the U.S. Air Force for more than 21 years and earned the rank of Tech. Sgt. He was founder of the V.F.W. Post No. 1485 in Saucier and served two years as commander. He retired as a security guard with Day Detectives and was a member of Saucier United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Saucier United Methodist Church, P.O.
