Irene Farrell						[Photo]

Irene Mary Crochet Farrell, 89, a native of Houma and resident of Metairie, died 
at 9:58 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp 
Funeral Home in Metairie. Service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home 
chapel, with interment in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

She is survived by one son, Charles Gref Farrell Jr. and wife, Patricia Dore; 
two daughters, Glenda Mae Farrell and husband, Earl Anthony Surgi Jr., and 
Beverly Ann Farrell and husband Robert Aristel Louviere Jr.; 11 grandchildren 
and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Gref Farrell; her parents, 
Alvin B. Crochet and Mary Mabel Hebert Crochet LaFrance; her grandparents, 
Desire Leandre Ezra Crochet and Amanda Arcelie Pitre Crochet; two sisters, 
Beverly Scherer Crochet and Shirley LaFrance Creppel; and one brother, Joseph 
LaFrance.
