Jake Hunter

Jake Joseph Hunter, 53, a native of Galliano and resident of Raceland, died 
Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Samart Funeral Home in 
Cut Off. Service will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with burial 
in Cheramie Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Todaro Hunter; his mother, Mary Gisclair 
Hunter; two stepsons, Corbert Rodrigue and Anthony Rodrigue; two daughters, 
Jolynda Vining and Jessica Parrish and husband, Cory Parrish; four sisters, 
Nellie Hunter, Connie Guidry, Tina Allemand and Stacey McCollough; and four 
grandchildren, Justin Vining, Brianna Hunter, Charle Rodrigue and Jacorie 
Parrish.

He was preceded in death by his father, Johness Hunter.

He was a boat captain.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
