James Pierce Sr.

James Pierce Sr., 83, a native and resident of Cut Off, died at 6:05 p.m. 
Monday, Dec. 27, 2004.

Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at Falgout Funeral Home in 
Raceland. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Holy Rosary Cemetery 
in Larose.

He is survived by two daughters, Louise Trosclair and Lora Barndt; one sister, 
Marjorie Richardel; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three 
great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Earline Rodrigue Pierce; his parents, 
Henry Pierce Jr. and Evelia Pitre Pierce; one son, James Pierce Jr.; three 
brothers, Wilbert, Tryphon and Robert Pierce; one sister, Marcella Sanders; and 
two grandchildren.
