Jean Frances Bergeron Kappel, 80, a native and resident of Houma, died at 7:50 
p.m. Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004.

Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 
a.m. to funeral time Thursday at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Mass will be at 
10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by three daughters, McQuet Arabie of Houma, MiQuelle Kappel of 
Austin, Texas, and Maria Clement of Austin; and seven grandchildren, Henry 
Kappel III, Layna Kappel, Michael Arceneaux, Clara Arceneaux, Ashley Gaudet, 
Brooke Clement and Madison Vidrine.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Charles Kappel Jr.; her parents, 
Augustine Bergeron and Marguerite Brien Bergeron; three brothers, Elmer 
Bergeron, Ruffin Bergeron Sr. and Sterling Bergeron Sr.; and three sisters, 
Hyacinth Constant, Joan Gillespie and Marguerite Giroir.

She was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
