Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Triumph Baptist Church in Gibson. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by her mother and dad, Joyce and Warren Diggs; her father, Henry Turner of Baker; her grandmother, Pearl Wallace; one brother, Marvin Lee Smart Diggs; eight uncles, Robert Rogers, Herman, Ricky and Jeffrey Davis, and Charles, Norman, Robert and Harold Diggs; eight aunts, Melissa Harris, Virginia Singleton, Carolyn Ross, Trudy Brothers, Jacquelyn Roach, Aggie Davis, Lela M. Hayes and Margurite Williams; three great-uncles, Jesse Rogers, Jesse Turner and Johnny Turner; four great-aunts, Gertrude Carter, Ethel Parker, Ruth Kleinpeter and Helen Langley; one god-sister, Chawannia O'Conner; and her devoted friend, Nigel Smith. She was preceded in death by five grandparents, Richard Rogers, Elsie and Norman Diggs Sr., and Beatrice and Edward Davis; and one uncle, Robert Davis. She was a senior at Nicholls State University and a parishioner of Triumph Baptist Church. She was in the Delta Sigma Theta sorority and was active in sports. Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
