Joseph Steib

Joseph Albert Steib, 79, a native and resident of Vacherie, died at 6:05 a.m. 
Sunday, Dec. 12, 2004.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Our Lady of Peace 
Catholic Church in Vacherie. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with 
burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by one brother, Prudent J. Steib; and one sister, Etiennette 
"Net" S. Becnel.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Etienne and Elizabeth Falgoust Steib; 
three brothers, Adolph, Berris and Rene Steib; and one sister, Josephine Reulet.

He was a U.S. World War II Army veteran.
