The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ============================= December 14. 2004 12:00AM Lou LeBlanc [Photo] Lou Ella Istre LeBlanc, 67, a native of Crowley and resident of The Woodlands, Texas, died at 1:34 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 12, 2004. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Acadian Funeral Home, with burial in Beau Pre' Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Dewey LeBlanc of New Iberia; six children, Lillian Faye Williams, Michael LeBlanc and wife, Venessa, Paula LeBlanc and Christine Breaux, all of New Iberia, Janet Bourque of The Woodlands and Eddie LeBlanc and wife, Louella, both of The Woodlands; two brothers, Linus Istre of Crowley and Donald Istre of Sulphur; 11 grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Istre and Althbea Champagne Istre. She worked along with her husband at their business at LeBlanc Vault and Monument Company and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
